After accidentally putting DS2 up on the DS Lite feed, I finally have the proper one out there. For those who were able to unintentionally fetch the full one, don’t “upgrade” to the new Lite copy, as you’ll lose a lot of the great features. An upgrade to Distant Suns Lite was just pushed to Apple, and should be available before Christmas. In includes the speed enhancements from the Distant Suns 2 upgrades, constellation figures for the Zodiacal constellations (DS2 has illustrations for all constellations), a cleaner looking interface, Twitter and Apple Push Notification support.
