An upgrade to Distant Suns Lite was just pushed to Apple, and should be available before Christmas. In includes the speed enhancements from the Distant Suns 2 upgrades, constellation figures for the Zodiacal constellations (DS2 has illustrations for all constellations), a cleaner looking interface, Twitter and Apple Push Notification support.
