Distant Suns 3 and the “new” iPad

For those who have just received or are expecting their little bundles of iPad 3 joy, Distant Suns 3 works very well on it except for one toolbar button that is the wrong size, and some text on the Whats Up? that needs a little bit of tweaking. Those fixes should be sent to Apple in the next couple of days. Other than those, it looks really great, hard now to even go back and look at the ‘2.

Wazzup with the “twilight planner” missing on the iPad 2?

The story with that is there seems to be a bug in the iPad 2 camera support which totally screws up the screen when orientation is changed. Apple wants a working demo to show them and that would take a day or so to get running. An extra day I didn’t have, so for 3.2.0 I opted to just suspend that feature until Apple (or I if it is pilot error) can track it down. Works fine on the iPhone/iPod but not on the iPad. Sigh.
