For those who have just received or are expecting their little bundles of iPad 3 joy, Distant Suns 3 works very well on it except for one toolbar button that is the wrong size, and some text on the Whats Up? that needs a little bit of tweaking. Those fixes should be sent to Apple in the next couple of days. Other than those, it looks really great, hard now to even go back and look at the ‘2.

Distant Suns 3.2.1 was pushed out yesterday with the iOS 3.x fix, and a fix more or less for the Twilight Planner on the iPad 2. A number of small cosmetic changes have also been made. So you iOS 3 guys and gals should be back into the game. And as always, if you like the app, show it around.

I am pleased to announce that Distant Suns 3.2.0 has just been released. I had a bitch’n new icon too, but the Appstore ate it. Oh well. Due to the number of changes and tweaks I am sure I likely missed something, so I appreciate the feedback.

The story with that is there seems to be a bug in the iPad 2 camera support which totally screws up the screen when orientation is changed. Apple wants a working demo to show them and that would take a day or so to get running. An extra day I didn’t have, so for 3.2.0 I opted to just suspend that feature until Apple (or I if it is pilot error) can track it down. Works fine on the iPhone/iPod but not on the iPad. Sigh.
