Read MoreDistant Suns 3.2.1 was pushed out yesterday with the iOS 3.x fix, and a fix more or less for the Twilight Planner on the iPad 2. A number of small cosmetic changes have also been made. So you iOS 3 guys and gals should be back into the game. And as always, if you like the app, show it around.
Read MoreIf you are experiencing any problems with Distant Suns 3.2 after upgrading, particularly if it is unable to launch properly, this could be a corrupted download from the Appstore that can hit any app. Delete Distant Suns 3.2 from your device and try reinstalling directly from the Appstore and see if that takes care of things. And no, you will not have to purchase it again. And if it still has problems, contact me and we’ll try and sort things...
Read MoreI am pleased to announce that Distant Suns 3.2.0 has just been released. I had a bitch’n new icon too, but the Appstore ate it. Oh well. Due to the number of changes and tweaks I am sure I likely missed something, so I appreciate the feedback.
Read MoreThe story with that is there seems to be a bug in the iPad 2 camera support which totally screws up the screen when orientation is changed. Apple wants a working demo to show them and that would take a day or so to get running. An extra day I didn’t have, so for 3.2.0 I opted to just suspend that feature until Apple (or I if it is pilot error) can track it down. Works fine on the iPhone/iPod but not on the iPad. Sigh.
